    Chuck Miller spoke in April on franchise related topics at the California State Bar Business Law Section Spring Meeting in Rancho Bernardo, and the annual IFA Legal Symposium in May in Washington, D.C., in what was billed as a no-hold's bar debate on the application and limits of the implied covenant of good faith and fair dealing in franchising.  Chuck also spoke at the CLE Institute conference at the San Francisco Fairmont Hotel on June 5 on one of his favorite topics - encroachment.
