Griff Towle is a shareholder in the firm and an experienced trial attorney. He represents clients in a variety of commercial cases, including class actions, franchise and related regulatory litigation, business and partnership disputes, real estate litigation, employment law matters, and intellectual property litigation.Mr. Towle has successfully tried and arbitrated cases involving RICO, partnership, contract and tort claims. In addition, he has substantial experience in mediation and other types of ADR.
Most recently, Mr. Towle has represented a Fortune 500 retailer in a dispute involving an overseas venture, a private security firm in a consumer class action, and an international franchisor in several class actions.
Mr Towle is the former Co-Chair of the Franchise Law Committee for the State Bar of California and was formerly a member of the Steering Committee of the Litigation and Dispute Resolution Division of the Forum on Franchising for the American Bar Association. He has also authored numerous articles and spoken on a variety of topics related to litigation and issues involving franchising.
