Experience:

Jack McLean specializes in all aspects of antitrust matters including civil litigation and criminal investigations. He has extensive experience with issues relating to marketing & distribution, mergers & acquisitions, and corporate compliance. Mr. McLean's client list includes hi-tech companies, natural resource companies and their down-stream converting operations, manufacturers of heavy construction equipment, consumer, pharmaceutical and various other products, and providers of transportation, insurance, banking, health care, and other services. His grand jury work has involved the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act, securities law, and white collar criminal investigations. Recently notable, Mr. McLean was co-counsel for United States v. Gary Swanson, defending Gary Swanson, Vice President of Hynix, who was charged with price-fixing of DRAM memory chips. After a four-week jury trial, the result was 10:2 hung jury in favor of the defendant. The DOJ decided that it would not re-try Swanson.
