Ms. Jerhoff specializes in retail leasing (both space and ground leases), purchase and sale of commercial property, and big box development.Prior to associating with the firm, Ms. Jerhoff was Counsel for The Home Depot, Inc. for 6 years where she oversaw all real estate legal matters for the company's Western Division (13 states), including new store property purchases and leases , land use, construction, environmental and general development matters; disposition of excess property; and property management of the existing fleet. She handled bulk acquisitions for new store development and bulk sales of excess properties.
Prior to Home Depot, Ms. Jerhoff was Associate General Counsel for The Gap, Inc. in the Real Estate Law group, where she was involved in all aspects of new store development for the Gap, Old Navy, Banana Republic and Outlet Divisions as well as property management for the company's existing fleet. During her 6-year career at Gap, she negotiated leases and related documents with national shopping center developers, handled construction related matters, and a resolved a wide range of real estate-related disputes.
Prior to Gap, Ms. Jerhoff was Associate Counsel for Doubletree Hotels, specializing in real estate and general corporate matters. While in private practice Ms. Jerhoff represented a major bank in connection with its real estate lending issues including analyzing potential claims against defaulting borrowers.
